Kerry County Council was awarded €100,000 towards the heritage-led upgrading of buildings on Castle Street, Tralee following a successful application to the Heritage Council’s Historic Towns Initiative 2025.

The grant will support owners on Castle Street for the following heritage-led works:

Conservation upgrading of their buildings

                Conversion of upper floors to residential use

                Addressing vacancy

Kerry County Council is now inviting applications under this scheme for the heritage-led regeneration of buildings on Castle Street, Tralee.  The closing date for receipt of applications is FRIDAY 9th May 2025.

The application form is available on Kerry County Council’s website and completed applications should be sent to the Planning Department, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee, County Kerry or by email to  archconservationgrants@kerrycoco.ie on or before Friday 9^th May, 2025. Successful applicants must complete the works in 2025
