Join us and help record wildlife on a farm in the Kerry Biosphere
Come along and join us in counting plants, animals and insects on a farm in the Kerry Biosphere.
A BioBlitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. At a BioBlitz, scientists, families, students, teachers, and other community members work together to get a snapshot of an area’s biodiversity.
This event will be the first of several planned farmland Bioblitz’s to be hosted over the coming months in the Kerry UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
This event will take place on a farm in Kilcummin. There is limited parking at the location so limited tickets are available.
This project is hosted in partnership by The Kerry Biosphere Reserve and the Kerry Eco-Social Farming Project. Both projects are led by South Kerry Development Partnership.
Once you have booked your tickets you will receive an email with details on where to meet on the day, what to bring with you and other details.
